Tours - how to book
Request, quote, pay, go
Four steps and no account to create. You tell us the tour, the date, the group and the hotel area; we check the guide and the boat and send a quote; you confirm and pay; we pick you up. This page goes through each step and what we need from you.

The four steps
- 01
Send a request
Tell us the tour, your date, how many people are in your group (with children's ages) and the area of your hotel. The Book now button on each tour page sends exactly this.
- 02
We check and quote
We check that a guide, and on sea days a boat, is free for your date, then send a price for your group and the details of the day.
- 03
Confirm and pay 100%
You accept the quote and pay the full amount by card link or bank transfer. Nothing is charged before this.
- 04
Pick-up
Your guide meets you at your hotel at the time in your confirmation.
That is the whole process. There are no deposits, no booking fees added at the end and no account to create.
What to put in your request
| Tell us | Because |
|---|---|
| The tour, or two you are deciding between | We can quote both and say which fits your group |
| Your date, and a back-up date if you have one | Guides and boats are checked for a specific day; sea and forest days can move with the weather |
| How many people, and children's ages | Group size sets the price; ages decide which tours fit and where children swim |
| Your hotel area | Pick-up is included in Duong Dong, Ong Lang and Bai Truong; the south and far north carry a supplement |
| How much your group walks | For Trek & Heal and Tien Son, so the guide can suggest the shorter version or another tour |
| Health notes for the foot soak | Pregnancy, diabetes with foot complications, open wounds on the feet or severe varicose veins: the practitioner advises first |
| Food you do not eat | Lunch or dinner is included on most tours and is planned ahead |
Do not send passport copies or card numbers by email. Card payment only ever goes through the payment link we send.
What our quote tells you
A quote is more than a number. For a private day it is where the open details are fixed in writing, so you know what you are paying for before you pay.
- The price for your group, per person and in total, with any pick-up supplement shown separately.
- The route. For Trek & Heal, the GPS-logged distance and climb. For the night forest walk, the route named in writing, and only one where night walking is permitted; if none is available for your date, we say so before you pay.
- The places. Which farm, which beach for the sunset camp, where lunch is taken on the canoe day, and similar details that depend on the date.
- Water and sea. For Suoi May, an honest note of what to expect from the water level on your date. In the driest months the pools can be shallow.
- Times. The pick-up time and the expected return.
Paying
Payment is 100% when you confirm, by card link or bank transfer. Every product here is a day trip, so there is no deposit stage. Your booking is confirmed when payment is received and we send the confirmation with the pick-up details. The how to pay page explains both methods.
We never ask you to pay a different account at short notice by email or chat. If a payment request looks different from your quote, do not pay; contact us first using the details on this website.
On the day
- Be ready at pick-up time in your hotel lobby. Forest days start early: 07:00 for Trek & Heal, 07:30 for Healing Forest.
- Forest days: closed shoes with grip. On Trek & Heal bring your own trekking shoes; poles are provided. For the night walk, long trousers, closed shoes and insect repellent.
- Sea days: swimwear, a towel and reef-safe sunscreen. Masks and life jackets are on the canoe.
- The south island day: shoulders and knees covered for Ho Quoc Pagoda.
The packing list for a jungle trek covers the forest days in detail.
Weather, changes and cancellation
Forest guides may shorten or cancel a route in heavy rain, and nobody enters a stream in heavy rain because water can rise fast. Sea trips on the west and south coasts are cancelled when the sea is unsafe, and the cable car to Hon Thom may stop in strong wind. When we cancel for weather or safety, you choose a full refund or another day.
| When you cancel | What you get back |
|---|---|
| More than 48 hours before the start | Full refund, less any card fee |
| Between 48 and 24 hours before | 50% |
| Less than 24 hours before, or no-show | No refund |
| We cancel for weather or safety | Full refund, or another day |
If you need to move your date, ask as early as you can; we check the guide and boat again for the new day. The full wording is in the booking terms, reference prices are on the pricing page and every tour is compared on the all tours page.
Common questions
Questions travellers ask most
Is my booking confirmed when I send the request?
No. A request starts the process. The booking is confirmed once you accept the quote, pay and receive our confirmation with the pick-up details.
How far ahead should we book?
As soon as you know your dates. Each day needs a guide, and on sea days a boat, checked for that date, so earlier requests have more choice.
Can we change the date after paying?
Ask as early as you can. We check availability for the new date; cancellation terms depend on how much notice you give.
What if the weather is bad on our day?
If we cancel for weather or safety you choose a full refund or another day. Forest routes may also be shortened by the guide in heavy rain.
