What each day costs, and why it moves
Every tour has a reference price per person. Your price is quoted for your request, because on a private day the cost of the guide, the car and the boat is shared only by your group. This page lists all ten references and explains the rest.

What a reference price is, and what it is not
A reference price is the figure a tour starts from. It is not a price table, and it is not what every group pays. We publish one number per tour because a private day has no single price: the same canoe, guide and fuel cost the same whether two people are on board or ten.
There are two kinds of reference on this site. For Healing Forest and Trek & Heal, the reference is the per-person price for a private group of two, and a group of three or more pays less per person. For the sea, road and other forest days, the reference was set by looking at what comparable tours on the island cost and pricing our private version from there. Read it as a floor for planning: the starting point for your quote, with the per-person figure then set by your group size.
The night forest walk has no reference price. There is no comparable tour on the island to measure it against, and the route depends on where night walking is permitted for your date. It is quoted on request, and if no permitted route is available we tell you before you pay.
What changes your quote
In order of how much they usually move the price:
- Group size. By far the largest factor. The guide, the car, the canoe and on Trek & Heal the second trek guide (one per five guests) are fixed costs for the day, shared only by your group. Lunch, entrance tickets and insurance are per person. So the per-person price falls as the group grows.
- Hotel area. Pick-up is included in Duong Dong, Ong Lang and Bai Truong (Long Beach). The south around An Thoi and the far north carry a supplement, quoted with the price.
- Options. A shorter version of a long day costs less: the 7.5-hour Healing Forest that skips the pepper or bee farm, or the 4-5 km version of Trek & Heal. Beer on the sunset camp is on request, at cost.
- The date. We quote after checking that a guide, and on sea days a boat, is free for your date. Your quote is for that date.
We do not publish a price for every group size, because the quote is worked out for the actual request. Ask for two group sizes at once if your numbers are not settled and we will quote both.
Children
Children count as members of the group and are included in the quote. Tell us their ages when you ask: some tours have minimum ages (6 for Healing Forest, 10 for the night walk, 12 for Tien Son and Trek & Heal), and on stream and sea days the guide plans the swimming around the youngest. We do not publish a separate child rate; the quote shows what each person pays.
What is included, and what is not
Each tour page has its own included and not-included lists, and those are the ones that count. On most tours the price covers private air-conditioned transport, an English-speaking guide, lunch or dinner, water and travel insurance, plus the activity itself: entrance tickets, the herbal-farm session, the canoe and snorkel gear, kayaks or the cable car return ticket, depending on the day.
- Not included anywhere: tips and drinks beyond those listed on the tour page.
- Not included where named: trekking shoes on Trek & Heal (bring your own), products bought at the herbal farm, an underwater camera on the canoe day, alcohol on the beach camp, and the water park on Hon Thom, which is a separate ticket not sold here.
- Supplements: pick-up outside the free zone, quoted with the price.
Paying: 100% at confirmation
When you accept the quote and we confirm the date, you pay the full amount by card link or bank transfer. There is no deposit stage, because every product here is a day trip. Nothing is charged before the date is confirmed. Payment methods are set out on the how to pay page.
| When you cancel | What you get back |
|---|---|
| More than 48 hours before the start | Full refund, less any card fee |
| Between 48 and 24 hours before | 50% |
| Less than 24 hours before, or no-show | No refund |
| We cancel for weather or safety | Full refund, or another day |
The full wording is in the booking terms.
Why another quote may be lower
Phu Quoc has plenty of cheaper day tours, and some of them are the right choice for some travellers. When a price is well below ours, it usually comes from one of these:
- A join-in group. A shared bus and guide split many ways. Ours are private.
- Fewer people working. One guide for a large group on a forest trail, where we run one trek guide per five guests on Trek & Heal.
- Activities left out. A forest walk without the herbal-farm session, or an island trip where tickets, snorkel gear or lunch are extras.
- No insurance. Check whether travel insurance is in the price.
If a shared tour suits you better, book it. If you want the day to run at your pace with your own guide, send us a request and compare the quote line by line. The all tours page has every tour in one table.
Common questions
Questions travellers ask most
Why is there no fixed price for each group size?
Because the cost of a private day depends on the actual group, date and hotel area, we quote each request rather than publish a table that would be wrong for most groups.
Ask for two group sizes in one request if your numbers may change.
Why are you more expensive than some tours I have seen?
Every trip here is private, with your own guide, car and, on sea days, boat. Shared tours divide those costs among many more people.
Compare what is included line by line: tickets, lunch, insurance and the guide ratio make a large difference.
Do children pay less?
There is no published child rate. Children are part of the group and the quote shows what each person pays. Tell us their ages, since some tours have minimum ages.
Is anything charged before my date is confirmed?
No. You pay 100% once the date is confirmed, by card link or bank transfer. There is no deposit.
